Real Wedding Feature of Audrey and Justin at Los Coyotes Country Club

Juliann Harkness

Today we feature the wedding reception of Audrey and Justin at Los Coyotes Country Club – the reception was beautiful, and this was a wonderful example of how even if you don’t host your ceremony at a country club, you can still create an unforgettable wedding reception for your guests. We interviewed the happy couple after the event, and present their responses to you now!

Where did you two meet?

We met playing basketball at the Gold Mine at Cal State Long Beach. He was playing wingman for his buddy, who was trying to date my best friend. Unfortunately, they didn’t end up working out, but we’ve been together for 5 years now. The funny thing is, they were both in our wedding party.

How did he propose?

I was at home pregnant with our son, having contractions and in a ton of pain. I decided to take a nap, and when I woke up, he was sitting beside me with a box. He got down on one knee and told me how much he loved me, and how he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with me!

What was the deciding factor in choosing to have your reception at Los Coyotes?

As we were driving up to the country club, I was immediately sold by the beautiful scenery and overall look and feel of the Club. It was the icing on the cake, and the prices were more affordable than other places we looked, especially for how gorgeous the venue was. We also had an amazing Event Director, Sharen, who was so helpful and accommodating.

What were the highlights of your reception?

The ballroom was beautiful and the scenery was gorgeous.

The food was excellent! We still have guests tell us how great it was.

The bartenders were awesome. They made my guests happy and were very entertaining.
