Situated in the shadows of the majestic Santa Monica Mountains just a short distance from Bel Air and Brentwood, MountainGate Country Club is an idyllic place for stunning, memorable outdoor weddings and receptions. Our garden wedding venues offer an array of customizable space for events, ranging from intimate wedding ceremonies and vow renewals to rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. For indoor ceremonies and receptions, the Main Dining Room holds up to 200 guests, with an adjoining patio that can expand the space to a 450-guest capacity. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light and showcase emerald fairways and the impressive Santa Monica Mountains in the distance. The room also features a warm, cherry-wood ceiling and crown moldings, rustic wrought-iron chandeliers and matching wall sconces. The outdoor veranda is ideal for gala affairs, with hanging lanterns strung from one end to the other, providing a softly-lit dining area and dance floor. You’ll find it difficult to imagine a more romantic setting.

    Private Event Director
    Jacquelyn's love for events and hospitality started at the age of 15. She became more and more connected with the event industry once she entered college, and completed her hospitality degree. When Jacquelyn graduated, she found her niche in the country club world and has had the opportunity to work in Northern and Southern California at a few of the state’s finest clubs. Her accomplishments with American Golf include the MVP award, and Innovation award, and she is a two-time Legend’s Club winner, soon to be a three time winner. Most importantly, she has assisted over 250 couples in planning their dream wedding. Jacquelyn genuinely loves helping clients plan their big day and making dreams come true. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out at the gym, hiking, eating delicious food, and going to sporting events.

    Meredith Anderson has a long history of planning events. Born and raised on Long Island, NY, Meredith has worked in various aspects of the event and hospitality industry since she was in high school. After completing her BA at the University of Richmond and her MA at The Ohio State University, Meredith moved to LA in 2007. Meredith's experience includes social, corporate, and university events, and she values the importance of creating memories. Meredith loves working with a theme and believes that every event should add touches that reflect the personality of her client(s). The little touches go a long way in helping each event stand out from the crowd! Meredith joined the American Golf team in 2015 as the Senior Private Event Manager at MountainGate Country Club in Los Angeles. In her free time, Meredith enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and cat. She enjoys live music, photography, traveling, yoga, movies, collecting vinyl records, and trying new restaurants in LA.

Event Spaces & Ceremony Sites

The Main Dining Room features a number of wonderfully opulent decorative touches, including a double-faced fireplace, a glass atrium, and spacious dining room that can accommodate up to 200 guests. The room features floor-to-ceiling windows that wrap around all three sides of the room with impressive views of both the majestic Santa Monica Mountains and beautiful fairways. The classically designed Dining Room features a cherry wood ceiling, wrought-iron chandeliers, and crown moldings. The Main Dining Room is, by far, our most charming and upscale venue on the property. The Club is also happy to customize the space for you; we’re eager to help you get the most out of your special day.
For a truly glamorous event, you can host your reception on our Garden Terrace for an event set under strings of romantic lights and the twinkle of the stars. The outdoor terrace can seat up to 400 guests.
MountainGate’s picturesque ceremony site overlooks rolling hills, and sits beneath an array of birch trees that provide relaxing shade.
