Meet Our Team

  • Nicole Bergin
    Regional Director of Sales
    Nicole began her career with American Golf in 2005 at Los Coyotes Country Club in Buena Park, California, while attending Biola University. She quickly advanced from banquet server to Sales Assistant, and then to Event Sales Manager before transferring to Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in January 2009, when her family moved to Portland, Oregon. In October of that year, she signed on to be one of the first Catering Managers for the newly opened Allison Inn and Spa in Newberg, Oregon, but it wasn't long before she returned to her American Golf roots. She became the Private Event Director at The Oregon Golf Club in May 2010, and loved being there and assisting her clients for six and a half years! During her tenure at The Oregon Golf Club was awarded eight different “Best Of” awards from Oregon Bride Magazine. In addition, Nicole has received 6 awards from American Golf including being a back-to-back Legend Club Winner, American Golf’s most prestigious award. Nicole was promoted to Regional Director of Private Event Sales in June 2015, where she assists in the training of other sales people within American Golf, and helps them achieve their goals. Nicole recently moved back to her home, Southern California, and started her career in American Golf, to be the Director of Sales at Brookside Golf Club at the Rose Bowl. Nicole and her husband (and high school sweetheart!) have a five year old son, Conor.

    Kristen began with American Golf in 2015 as a Private Event Sales Manager at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena! She studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at San Diego State University and initially concentrated in Restaurant Management. As a local Southern California girl, Kristen has maneuvered herself throughout the San Diego and Los Angeles counties working with family owned restaurants, various catering companies and Marriott Hotels & Resorts. With a large background in food and beverage, she tries to make any catering dream a reality! Kristen has a pure passion for the culinary and event industry! Developing client relationships and personalizing your experience are two of the most important items when it comes to event planning. She continues on her road to success with her newest promotion as the Private Event Director at Brookside Golf Club. Outside of work, Kristen likes to spend the majority of her time traveling the world or being a part of the great outdoors surrounding herself with her two Australian Shepherds (Bow & Bandanna).

    Private Event Manager
    Samantha began with American Golf Corporation in September 2014 as a Sales Assistant at Mountain Meadows Golf Course in Pomona, California. She quickly became comfortable with weddings and really enjoyed working with brides and grooms on their special day! Samantha grew very quickly in her career, being asked to assist other courses with their office duties, and then most recently being offered a Sales Manager position at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena. Samantha was excited to grow and learn more about the event planning business at one of the busiest clubs in southern California! Brookside Golf Club is situated right behind the Rose Bowl, which adds an extra layer of excitement and learning. Samantha’s boyfriend is also one of her childhood friends, and they have been together for 3 years and are expecting their first child together in April 2017! When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her family, and her 2 younger sisters, and of course, getting ready for baby. Samantha is also pursuing her degree in Business Management and Hospitality in her free time.

Event Spaces & Ceremony Sites

An excellent option for larger wedding parties, the lavishly decorated Mediterranean Room grand ballroom can accommodate up to 300 guests. The space can also be reserved for other large events, such as fundraisers and corporate events. The Mediterranean Room features an adjoining bridal suite—with couches, floral accents, and a vanity—and a patio with a garden and pergola. Couples can host their ceremony outdoors, and then bring everyone inside for the reception. Room dimensions: 64 ft. x 62 ft.
Adorned with historic black and white photos of late 19th- and early 20th-century Pasadena, the Arroyo Room is the perfect venue for couples who appreciate L.A.’s history. The space can accommodate parties of up to 80 people, and it’s ideal for not only weddings, but also corporate functions, business meetings, and private parties. Dimensions: 22 ft. x 42 ft.
For luncheons, baby or wedding showers, or small meetings, we suggest booking the Madrid Room, which can accommodate up to 50 guests. Boasting views of Rosemont Avenue’s hills, stately floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace, this space is definitely a memorable one. Top-of-the-line audio/visual equipment is also available for corporate events or meetings as well.
Our exceptional Rose Room is ideal for smaller parties or weddings, as it can accommodate up to 60 guests—it can also be used for large events as a breakout room. Named after the nearby Rose Bowl, the Rose Room features an array of gorgeous decorative touches, including sage-colored walls and wonderful paintings (some of which depict the Tournament of Roses). Book this room for your next dinner, birthday celebration, or business meeting. Dimensions: 22 ft. x 35 ft.
