Five Tuxedo Styles: From Traditional to Hipster

Traditional and Timeless

You can never go wrong with a traditional black tuxedo. Of all tuxedo styles, this is the most classic and timeless option for weddings. A solid black bow tie and shiny black shoes is a look that will never get old. This is the perfect option for an evening wedding, year round.

The Grey Three Piece

Grey has been a strong color choice for the past couple of years. It is perfect for a day time wedding, especially in the warmer months. A light grey three piece suit is always a good way to look formal, when straying from the black traditional look. Adding a black tie and black pocket square breaks up the look and works well with the shoe. Having the groom and the groomsmen wear a different tie or bowtie also helps to make the groom stand out.

Charcoal Grey with a Hint of Color

Charcoal grey with a hint of color is perfect for a day or evening wedding. The dark grey suit pairs well with a pop of color from the coral tie and matching socks. This look lends itself to both traditional and rustic-themed weddings.

Retro Beach

If you are looking for the furthest from traditional this look is it. While the groom still lends towards a more traditional dress, the groomsmen are in retro beach attire—pairing a pop of color pants with suspenders giving it a cool vibe. This look is definitely not for everyone, so please consider your groomsmen when choosing an offbeat style.

Hipster and Rustic

This hipster look is perfect for a rustic backyard, vintage style wedding. The mix-and- match colored pants and jackets are the perfect touch to this look. This is a clean way of stepping out of the box, and putting a spin on a traditional look. Mixing up and color coordinating the ties and shoes takes this look to a new level.
